We are a group of artists who love to draw the figure. We use this workshop as a way to improve our work and engage with other artists. We are portrait painting on Wednesdays will begin with several one-day poses, then several two-day poses, and finally one longer four-session pose. This will allow artists an opportunity to begin getting familiar with alla-prima portrait painting.

This is a Painting workshop for any level of artist. I will begin the class by having you paint a value study of whatever subject matter you like or from a still life that I will set up. Then we will paint that same study in color using oil paints. The workshop will meet at the studio in my home in Englewood.
