Studio117B was created for artists that wish to further their abilities in figurative art. There is a live model every session and the studio has professional equipment, art benches, easels, lighting and a stage. A wide range of artists attend from beginners just starting their studies to working professionals. There is a great group of friendly regulars and new comers are always welcome.

If you are an artist or model that looooooooves pin-up art from the 1940's and 1950's, this groups is for you. Every other Saturday we're holding a figure drawing workshop for anyone that wants to do live figure study of pin-ups. Each workshop includes a dolled-up hot mama in a period type setting. We do both long and short pose, and encourage artists from all mediums to come and get inspired or hone their craft.

This group has multipul organizers each doing different workshops. So this meet up gives you many venues and days and times to best fit your needs for drawing and painting. ENJOY!

Art After Dark is an uninstructed, long pose figure painting and drawing workshop held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.  Workshops are 3 hours, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. We are hosting lifedrawing and painting workshops Monday and Thursday evenings from 7 to 10 pm. Both evenings are twenty-five minute poses for uninstructed drawing. We are located at 4451 Kingswell Ave, at the Northeast corner of Kingswell and Hillhurst in the heart of Los Feliz Village. There's a long driveway and we're all the way at the back, through a little courtyard to a burgundy door. The donation is fifteen dollars per session on a pay as you go basis.

I'm starting this group to explore if there is interest in a Communal Art Studio in Pasadena where members can rent studio space on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and be part of a community of local artists. This would be based on the CoWorking model, only instead of office space it would be Art Studio Space.
