Details
Come along to our friendly class at the Salon Gallery, just opposite Bethnal Green tube station, only 1 minute's walk.
The gallery is a nice intimate space and we aim to foster a creative supportive atmosphere. The class is every Tuesday, 7.00-9.30. We provide drawing boards, some black and white materials, A1 cartridge paper at 25p per sheet, also there are complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.
If you are an experienced artist, you can just access the model, beginners are welcome, we cater to their needs, looking at different drawing techniques each week, for example measuring, value drawing and various artistic movements. We also provide information sources, with short drawing exercises to improve eye to hand co-ordination.
To get there, go up Bethnal Green Road, under the railway bridge, it is the first turning on the right, 1a Hollybush Place is one of the first doors on the left (painted red), go up the stairs, go right at the top, the Gallery is across the roof patio. Beware turning onto Hollybush Gardens, this is a classic wrong turn.
If you want to socialise more, people nip into the Sun Pub afterwards for a swift half.

Please phone me if you have any problems.
If you are unable to make it for any reason, please please change your RSVP to No, as soon as possible I understand things can come up at the last minute, but people are constantly inquiring about this class, and it gives others a chance to attend, at least two days before would be great. This is especially important, if you have guests, as +2 guests means 3 people can't come who may have wanted to.
Regards,
Nils

"The venue was smaller than I was expecting, and I was expecting it to be small! But an interesting experience - it feels almost like drawing in your own home."
